Straight talk about Tunguska's blast
In the early morning of June 30, 1908 in the Tunguska river valley of Siberia, an earthshaking event so powerful occurred that it was felt over 1000 miles away in London. The Tunguska event or Tunguska blast still has scientists searching for answers today.
The massive explosion, blast, or shock wave was so powerful that is leveled or flattened over 100 million plus trees in an area covering over 850 sure miles. Here is a picture of the flattened trees from the Tunguska blast.
The cause of the 1908 event or blast is thought to be an explosion occurring in the air ( 3-6 miles above the earth's surface) from either a meteor or a comet. The estimated power of this air burst is calculated to be between 10-15 megatons, or 1000 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
The Tunguska region was so remote at the time of the blast that it took over a decade for the first scientific expedition to explore the area of this 1908 "event". In 1927 Russian geologist Leonid Kuilik was the first to make a scientific study of the Tunguska event, and Leonid made a total of four expeditions to the region from 1927-1930.
Over the course of his expeditions, Leonid discovers that the Tunguska area is becoming green again and lush with vegetation but didn't find a crater from the 1908 blast. From the years 1931-1941 there was not much scientific study of the Tunguska event region because of Communism and World War two.
The Cold war began after World War 2 but determined scientists are able to explore the Tunguska blast region and determine that the plant life are growing at four times their normal rate. The entire valley is becoming like a Garden of Eden, green with regrowth and trees growing 1/3 larger than their previous size.
Many more scientific studies are conducted through the 70's, and 80's when physicist Menotti Galli of Italy finds large concentrations of essential minerals in the soil.
The soil in the Tunguska event area is richer than volcanic ash accelerating the growth of the vegetation and trees.

Learn more about adaptogens
One of the unique category of plants from the Tunguska region are adaptogens, which have the ability to adapt to harsh conditions of their enviornment. Plants in the Tunguska region have been known to grow at four times the rate of other plants in a more favorable enviornment.
Adaptogens may help with stress and the over 1200 Russian scientists studied 4000 plants from the region after World War 2. Out of these 4000 plants studied for their nutritional value, 10 plants were listed as adaptogens.
People who took adaptogens experienced tremendous and varied benefits.
In Russia, a factory was selected for a study because of the high absentee problem with their truck drivers. After the truck drivers were given adaptogens for several months, scientists were very pleased to discover that absentee rates dropped by an astonishing 92.5%!
